AAL continues to operate multipurpose heavy lift sailings through the Red Sea / Gulf of Aden region, in support of our customer supply chain schedules.
Following notification of a further, significant increase in insurance premiums required for these sailings – with risk levels elevated – we are increasing our ‘Emergency Red Sea Surcharge’ (ERSS) with immediate effect for all forthcoming sailings through the region to USD 10.00 per R/T.
Whilst the situation in the Red Sea remains volatile and can change at any time, we continue to monitor events daily, and will notify you in the event of any further changes.
