Dear Customer,
Due to escalating military activity in the Persian Gulf (PG) and significant threats posed to the safety of commercial shipping operations, we have cancelled the planned PG calls of the AAL MELBOURNE (v.26001) on her scheduled EUMEIA liner service.
She will instead sail from Europe via the Cape of Good Hope to Asia. Any cargo already booked on this sailing into PG will be automatically transferred onto the next EUMEIA sailing – AAL KEMBLA (v.26003) which for the time being is proceeding as scheduled. For those customers effected, please reach out to your local AAL representative.
The safety of our crews, vessels, cargo, and operations remains AAL’s highest priority and we are closely monitoring the situation across the Middle East and other regions affected by the conflict.
We will continue to evaluate developments, take appropriate operational measures as necessary, and promptly notify all relevant stakeholders in the event of any change or disruption to further planned sailings and operations.
